COVID-19 UPDATE FROM THE BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING SOCIETY

COVID-19 is of course omnipresent in all our lives now. BMES has been and will continue monitoring developments associated with the virus. Further, the Society is committed to following the guidance provided by worldwide health organizations and experts to effectively ensure your safety in your engagement in BMES programs.

We are optimistic that our BMES Annual Meeting will be held as planned October 14-17 in San Diego. We are now accepting abstracts for the meeting, and encourage you to submit one. The deadline for submission is May 7, and you can send in your submission by clicking here .

We will continue to closely monitor the situation and update you periodically. Closer to the meeting, we will provide specific precautions and recommendations. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Interim Executive Director Matt Loeb (matt@bmes.org) or Membership Director Jenn Novesky (jenn@bmes.org).
