Abstract Submission is now closed.
Message From the Chair:
Along with my Co-Chair Roland Kaunas, I look forward to seeing you at the 2015 BMES-CMBE Conference, From Womb to Tomb: Mechanobiology of Generation, Regeneration, and Degeneration
. Exciting presentations will span mechanobiology of development and morphogenesis (generation
), roles of mechanical stimuli in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine (regeneration
), and biophysical stimuli associated with disease progression (degeneration
). We will close with a session dedicated to clinical translation, with conceptual talks meant to drive new thinking as to how knowledge gained can be used to better affect patient care.
A primary goal of this year's conference is to provide an authoritative review of the current state of CMBE in the context of our theme. World-renowned keynote and invited speakers will present their latest research with emphasis on cutting-edge, late breaking findings. In addition, we are pleased to present short talks selected from an outstanding pool of student/fellow abstracts as well as a Rising Star podium session from exceptional junior principal investigators selected after an extremely competitive review. We have exciting poster presentations planned with international CMBE research represented from around the world. I look forward to welcoming you to beautiful St. Thomas this January.
See you in January!
